List of shelters & rescues

Check out this list of almost 800 Texas Rescues & Shelters.

You can sort by county or breed.

When you dog is lost, you need to check with local shelters to see if your dog is there. Dogs in Texas can be held as little as 72 hours.  Take your flyer and go every other day.  Talk to staff so they will be looking for your dog to come in.

Rescues get dogs from shelters and the public.  Touch base with local rescues so they know to look for your dog!

Lose a Pit Bull? Or an Aussie?  Is your dog a Dachshund?

Look for breed rescue on the list.
